Beloved wife of Per Linden and mother of Gemma Linden. Beloved daughter of William and Denise Duddleson and daughter-in-law of Marcia Gage and Carl A. Linden (both deceased). Survived by her parents, William and Denise Duddleson; siblings Bon Prouty (Mark), Stephen Duddleson, Mary Ann Moen (James), Helen Clark (Gary); sister-in-law Laila Linden; brothers-in-law Derek Linden, Leif Linden, C. Gage Linden, Neil Linden (Anna); nieces Katy Mayer, Lara Linden, and Colleen Clark; and nephews Ted Prouty, Karl Linden, and Will Duddleson.
Judy, who grew up in the
Washington, DC area, graduated from high school at the Foxcroft School. She
earned her B.S. in Natural Resources Management at the University of Maryland
in 1987, her A.A. in Nursing at Montgomery College in 1993, and became an R.N.
in 1994.
Since 1995, Judy worked as a
postpartum neonatal nurse and lactation consultant at Martha Jefferson Hospital
in Charlottesville, VA. She and Per Linden wed in 1987 and were blessed with
their daughter Gemma’s birth in 2003.
Judy’s family,
friends, colleagues, and patients will always remember Judy for her zest for
life, her strength, her love for her beautiful farm, and her affinity for all creatures
great and small.
